Rhema Tzedakah wrapped up 2023 with a visit to the Kumasi Central Prisons, located in Adum, Kumasi. The prison accommodates thousands of inmates, and the primary objective of the outreach was to provide medical assistance to those requiring medical attention. Additionally, RTF sought to extend support to the prison officers and attempt to bring a festive spirit to the inmates through donations and engagement activities. Activities 1. General Screening and Medical Assistance: RTF provided general medical screening and attended to 130 inmates and officials (34 females and 96 males). Medical consultations and the provision of prescribed medications were offered free of charge. 2. Support for Prison Officers: Recognizing the essential role of prison officers, RTF extended medical assistance to them as well. 3. Donations and Engagement: In the spirit of the festive season, RTF donated medications, toiletries, and essential items to mitigate the living conditions of the inmates. Additionally, the legal team engaged with inmates, particularly those with prolonged remand periods, offering assurances of legal assistance. 4. Evangelism and Media Engagement: RTF engaged in evangelism activities, offering spiritual support and encouragement to the inmates.
